The new Savi Provisions location at Tuxedo Shopping Center, 3665 Roswell Road, will include a gourmet market featuring an expansive cheese wall, Lavazza coffee, a fresh organic juice bar, a wide selection of charcuterie, specialty chef prepared cuisine and rich menu of chocolates, according to a press announcement.
With a total of 15,000 square feet, Savi Provisions will offer an extensive selection of beer, a Sommelier Select™ wine cellar, a dedicated tasting room, and stocked inventory of spirits, “including high end and difficult-to-find treasures” according to the press release.
The opening of the Buckhead location will also mark the transition from Urban Market to the new Provisions brand for the existing Atlanta locations in Inman Park and Brookhaven.
“We are excited to take the Savi brand to the next level with the unveiling of Savi Provisions,” explains Paul Nair, CEO of Savi Provisions. “Today’s announcement results from a collaborative effort to create a more relevant and distinct “Dean and Deluca” style experience with online shopping options coming as well.”
Atlanta is no stranger to the local foods movement with the resurgence of the local farmer and farmer’s market, as well as the growing popularity of farm-to-table restaurants. Savi Provisions is a neighborhood grocer that not only features a gourmet market with organic offerings, but also boasts a plentiful stash of small batch wines and spirits in addition to price accessible beverages.
“Our goal at Savi Provisions is to become a steward of local farms throughout the state of Georgia, enabling us to connect our customers with local farmers and source as many locally produced organic foods as we can,” Nair added.
“We envision a similar commitment with our wine and spirits, offering our customers the unique opportunity to taste some of the best small production winemakers and rare spirit producers in the country,” he said. “We expect no less than 200-plus tasting experiences a year as part of our commitment to educating the community’s palette.”
