Exercising its annual attrition fulfillment,
the Buckhead Coalition has elected 13 directors to complete its complement of 100.
In accordance with the Coalition’s bylaws, all are chief executive officers, or
equivalent, of firms having a major presence in the Buckhead community.
In alphabetical order, the new members
are Mark Donnelly, Atlanta regional president for Wells Fargo; Joshua
Goldfarb, managing director of Southeast Apartment Partners; Steven L.
Guy, president and chief executive officer of Entertainment Design Group;
Steve L. Lindsey, president of Atlanta Gas Light; Bernard Marcus, chairman
of the Marcus Foundation;
Douglas E. McMahon, managing director of
Tavistock Group; Bartow Morgan, Jr., chief executive officer of Brand
Banking Company; D. Jack Sawyer, Jr., president of the southeast region
for Wilmington Trust; Rob Schreiner, M.D., executive medical director of
Kaiser Permanente of Georgia; Michael J. Sivewright, international director
for Jones, Lang LaSalle;
Stuart Snyder, president and chief operating officer
of Turner Broadcasting Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media; Francis
N. Spears, president of Balfour Beatty Construction Georgia, and Brant J.
Standridge, group/state president of Branch Banking & Trust Company.
In addition, Catherine Cattles was enrolled as an ex officio member as the 2012
president of the Buckhead Business Association.
John G. Morris continues as chairman for
this year, as does Sam Massell as president as the Coalition enters its 25
anniversary, with a mission to nurture the quality of life for those who live,
visit, work, and play in this northern quadrant of Atlanta.
